Lost 15 pounds!

I went to my first Kettle Bells class back in June. I had started Weight Watchers and I needed to incorporate working out. I have always liked using Kettle Bells and when I saw there was a class on Groupon I wanted to try it. I really don’t like to work out and I have no coordination so I was nervous at first but the class was awesome! By the end of that one hour you are dripping sweat and you feel so accomplished. The class is so much fun; it’s a small group and Connie is great. I have NO coordination what so ever but Connie will go slow with you until you understand how to do the move. Within a month I could see and feel the difference. I was stronger and I could see the tone in my arms. I had originally started the class to get in shape for my wedding but I wouldn’t even think of stopping now! It’s an all-in-one work out- cardio and strength training! I would recommend this class to ANYONE- it’s the best!!

I am a 65 year old Caribbean woman. I recently started exercising with my wonderful trainer, Connie Cramer. In less than 3 months I have lost 19 pounds. My BMI was 41, that number in layman's terms signified that I was morbidly obese. My BMI is now 36. I still need to decrease the BMI a bit more.

I have been battling obesity for the past 15 years. I really lost the battle in 2004 when I brought my mom to live with me. She had an Alzheimer's type disease. Mom passed away in 2011 and it took me 4 years to start recuperating. I also had a wakeup call in 2014 when I started having chest discomfort, shortness of breath, worsening osteoarthritis and at 5’1” my weight toped in at an all time high of 216 pounds. I was shocked, ashamed and fearful.

Then, I interviewed Connie and I told her my story. I asked if she could help me: she has saved my life with her encouragement, smiles and gentle support. I had a trainer more that 20 years ago, I loved it then and I’m loving it now! I highly recommend Connie. Connie has become my friend and she has promised to see me through my journey to health.

I have gone from an extra large, size 18 - 20 to a medium size 14 - 16. I get compliments daily from friends, co-workers and my children who are very supportive.

Remember 19 pounds of fat in under 3 months. No kidding!!

Lost 2" from waistline in 2 months!

I am a client of Connie Cramer, CPT. My wife found Connie after I had wasted money in sports club memberships that did not provide the individual attention and direction I needed from a skilled CPT. My frustration level was high as the weight piled on. I was not happy with my body image. Yesterday I purchased a sports jacket and slacks thanks to my wife's Christmas present. My wife had been telling me that my gut was coming down, and I was feeling a lot more room around the waist in my trousers. My tailor had me try on a pair of 48" trousers, my usual waistline for years, just to get a baseline for fit. The pants were clearly too big in the waist. He next grabbed the same styled pair of pants with a 46" waist. The fit was perfect. In other words, I dropped 2" off my waistline in the approximately two months I have been working out with Connie Cramer. Connie is a taskmaster. Her one-hour training sessions are intense. Her system is working for me, and, for the first time in my life, I feel that I am on the right path to losing weight and strengthening and sculpting my body. I still have a long way to go. My goal is a 40" waistline. But the transformation process has begun. I highly recommend Connie Cramer, CPT, as your personal trainer.

Lost 40 lbs and 5 dress sizes!

I met Connie when she offered a strength training class at my gym. I immediately felt an affinity for her training style. I had never worked out before in my life, but she immediately made me feel like I could do it. She is always encouraging, and pushes you to challenge yourself physically, but in a positive way. She has a wealth of knowledge about fitness, exercise and nutrition, all of which she shares with her clients in the most approachable way. She has taught me so much about fitness and exercise, things I have now incorporated into my everyday life. For me, her greatest strength as a trainer has not only been in helping me to get fit and to lose weight, but in believing in me and in teaching me to that I could actually achieve those things! That was 2 ½ years ago. In that time, I have lost 40 lbs, dropped 5 sizes, and have incorporated exercise into my daily life. When I achieved my initial fitness goals, Connie helped me to set new ones, something she still continues today. I always look forward to working out, and my session with Connie is my favorite of workout of the week! She still brings new and fresh ideas to my workouts, always challenging me and teaching me new things about exercise and fitness. I could not have asked for a better partner in my journey towards fitness, and am proud to say today that I am fit and healthy, all thanks to Connie!

I can't say enough about Connie Cramer as a Personal Trainer & Small Group Fitness Instructor! I'm 43 years old and I have been working out with Connie since September of 2014. I had been searching for fitness classes close to my home. I wanted fun classes in an environment that wasn't intimidating and I wanted to just be with "real people, who enjoyed working out, but weren't your typical "gym rats". I had been a member of all the big Gym names for years and for various reasons, it just never worked out for me.

Connie's group classes & one-on-one instruction are innovative, fun, and very customized to her clients' wants & needs. I began with Connie's Kettlebell classes, which I had taken in the past at other gyms, but never really took to them. I immediately became hooked when I started taking Connie's KB classes. The smaller group setting was just what I was looking for and the other people in class just couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming. There was absolutely no feeling of competition. Just hard work but fun at the same time! I eventually began doing Personal Training sessions 2 times per week, while trying to incorporate 1 day of her KB class or 1 day of her awesome "Legs" class (another terrific class that focuses on our lower half!). Within a year's time I cannot tell you the difference it's made for me. Not only do I look and feel stronger than I ever did in my 20s & 30s, but I'm more toned than I've ever been! My jean size is at least 1 size smaller while my weight averaging to be the same it was when I started. My goal was to tone up & feel healthier - weight loss wasn't the goal. Speeding up my "40-something" was, however!

Each week I look so forward to working out with Connie, who is so knowledgeable and always so encouraging & motivating! She & all of the people that attend her classes are just a terrific bunch. Connie's Mantra is "All are welcome, no matter what your fitness level is!"
